The Death of the Vinyl LP? by Mutants / / Published in blog. Many music lovers who have accumulated a myriad of vinyl LPs over the decades – especially during the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s – cherish their collections. Such complications are highly coveted and often treated as antiquities, which are sometimes played from time to time on.

Sep 27,  · The piece which best represents death to me is also by Richard Strauss, the last of his Four Last Songs, Im Abendrot. I've already written the words out once this week on this board, so am not going to do it again!, except to say it ends with the line 'ist diese etwas der Tod' (is this then death) as the music depicts the dying daylight and quotes from Tod und Verklarung.
